Understanding Sharing and Permissions

Sharing Permissions with your Spouse and your Lawyer

Sharing and Permissions in Divii

Divii is built on the premise that there is one owner of the document, which is the person who started the document. If the owner shares Divii with their spouse, they will have the option to choose whether to allow their spouse View or View & Edit permissions, but their spouse will not have the same ability to make changes.

Below is a diagram of how sharing works, beginning with the Starting Spouse in orange.

Below is a chart that outline who has permissions to which feature and whether they have full access, viewing access, or viewing and editing abilities. This keeps the agreement from being changed by multiple parties and everyone losing track of which change was made when.
