The Summary gives you a high-level overview of the key parts of your Agreement. It’s designed as a shared working space where you and your spouse can communicate using comments and track changes as you confirm your main decisions.
This page reflects the choices you’ve already made in the Builder, but it also gives you room to add clarifying details or note supporting agreements before you finalize anything.
It’s often helpful to book a Zoom call with your spouse and, if you’re working with lawyers, invite them into the agreement as well. Getting feedback at this stage can save time and help you move forward with confidence.
Mark sections green as you reach agreement
As you exchange comments, whether it’s just the two of you or your lawyers are involved, mark each section green once you’ve reached agreement on it.
Turning a section green is a simple way to signal that it’s settled, so you don’t need to revisit it.
From there, you can focus your energy on the remaining sections until the entire document is green. When everything is marked green, you’ll know you’ve reached an overall agreement and are ready to move to the next step.
