The next step is to view the document in the preview The preview is a real-time representation of the agreement. You want to make sure you agree on things at a high level before moving into the Editor. The Preview gives you a chance to see the overall Agreement before you start Editing.
Moving to the Editor Disconnects from the Builder
When you are comfortable with the structure of the Agreement and you wish to start editing and refining, you disconnect from the Builder. The changes you make to the Agreement are only reflected in the Editor and any changes you make in the Editor will not show up in the edited document.
If you need to make a substantive change, you can go back to the Builder, make the change and see it reflected in the Preview since the Preview is always an accurate reflection of the decisions in the Builder. From there, you can copy the updated section from the Preview and paste it in the Editor. We recommend that you copy and paste the entire section to ensure accuracy.
⚠️ Caution: Major changes may have greater implications in the Agreement Ex. a change to parenting may have implications on child support, tax benefits, and other areas of the Agreement.
Although you can copy and paste clauses from the Preview, we recommend updating the entire Agreement to ensure accuracy throughout.
